【90-day free storage period】

The normal storage period for purchasing and forwarding is 180 days (about 6 months), and the free storage period of the warehouse is 90 days. Goods that exceed the free storage period will be charged a storage fee of 0.1 yuan/DI/day. Starting from the order status "in storage", if the parcel waybill is not submitted or no feedback is made after 180 days, the goods will be regarded as abandoned. We will uniformly handle expired goods (after the expiration, the ownership of the goods belongs to the Taojiyun platform). If you need to extend the storage period, you can purchase the "extended storage period" service.

Free storage period for abnormal packages:

Abnormal packages mainly refer to the situation where the package is signed for but the order is not submitted or the logistics information is not completed. The abnormal package period is 60 days. It starts from the warehouse signing for the abnormal package. Since such packages cannot match the relevant orders and users, no reminder can be made. For overdue goods, Taojiyun will regard you as giving up custody and tacitly agreeing that the ownership of the goods belongs to Taojiyun platform.

Overdue charging standard

Currently, Taojiyun provides 90 days of free storage for all normal warehoused goods for purchasing and forwarding. In addition, starting from the order status "in stock", the total storage time of the goods in the warehouse shall not exceed 180 days. If the parcel waybill has not been submitted or no feedback has been made after 180 days, Taojiyun will destroy the goods as expired goods.

If your goods are stored in Taojiyun for more than 90 days of free storage, you can pay the storage fee when picking up the parcel waybill.

I. Storage Fee

If you submit a package after the product has exceeded the 90-day free storage period but has not entered the destruction stage (i.e. 90 days ≤ actual storage time of the product <180 days), the system will charge a storage fee of "0.1 yuan/DI/day" when submitting the package. The calculation starts from the order status "in storage". When you submit the package, the system automatically calculates and charges your product storage fee. To prevent your product from exceeding the free storage period, it is recommended that you submit the package waybill within the 90-day free storage period.

For example: If you have 2 DI products in total, and you pick up the package after 100 days of storage in the warehouse, you will be charged a storage fee of (100-90)*0.1*2=2 yuan

2. Extend the storage period (10 yuan/month, up to 6 months can be purchased at a time, and can be purchased multiple times)

Service description: Purchase once to extend the storage period by 1 month (i.e. 30 days), calculated according to the expiration date of the product; that is, if the number of months of the extended storage period purchased is t, the storage period of the product will be extended by t*30 days on the basis of the original 180 days. The processing is completed within 24 hours, and the processing results are directly displayed on the original order.

For example: If you have a DI product that has been in storage for 120 days, and you purchase a 2-month extended storage period, the product can be stored for 60 days, that is, there are still 120 days of storage period (60 days + 60 days).

 

Usage scenario: If your product is close to the 180-day storage period, but you want to wait for other products to arrive at the warehouse before submitting the package for shipment, you can choose to purchase the extended storage period service to avoid the destruction of the product due to exceeding the 180-day storage period.

 

Assuming that the actual storage time of the product in the warehouse is n (0＜n≤180) days, and the number of months you purchase the extended storage period is t (t≤6), the total storage time of the product in the warehouse will be extended by t*30 days based on the original 180 days.

 

For example: If you have a total of 1 DI product, and it has been stored in the warehouse for 120 days (60 days before the expiration date), and you purchase a 2-month extended storage period service, the total storage time of the product in the warehouse will be extended by 2*30=60 days (becoming 120 days before the expiration date).

3. How long can the product be stored in the Taobao logistics warehouse?

1. During the custody period, Taojiyun is responsible for the custody of the goods and bears the corresponding responsibilities, but the shelf life of the goods is not within the custody scope (for example: the shelf life of perishable items is only 1 month).
