Orders surge during Double 11, so understanding the consolidation rules is the key to saving more on shipping.
A: Warehouses get swamped during the 2026 Taobao Double 11 peak season, so we recommend placing orders 1–2 weeks in advance — don’t wait until Double 11 itself to shop.
Items take time to reach the mainland consolidation warehouse, and with inbound processing, consolidation and packing, and cross-border customs clearance, overall delivery will be slower than usual.
Try to finish your shopping early in the campaign and allow plenty of time to avoid parcel delays as the festival approaches.
A: TaoJiYun’s Hong Kong route has no fixed limit on the number of parcels you can consolidate — you can combine multiple Taobao orders.
However, each consolidated package has weight and size limits. For extra-large furniture (such as mattresses or large bathroom vanities), we recommend packing them separately.
During Double 11, consolidating many parcels together stacks up the volumetric weight. We suggest combining small items together and shipping large items separately for better rates.
A: Meat products, fresh fruit, dairy products, seeds, flammable and explosive items, and certain medicines are prohibited by Hong Kong Customs and cannot be shipped to Hong Kong via TaoJiYun.
Cosmetics, regular home appliances, furniture, and clothing can generally be shipped. Before your Double 11 shopping spree, check the prohibited list first to avoid parcels being held and incurring extra losses.
